Homemade BBQ Sauce

Barbecue sauce is an essential ingredient in many people's kitchen, but the store-bought stuff is no good if you're trying to quit sugar!  

Servings: 1 cup
Preparation: 5 mins
Cooking: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Homemade Tomato Sauce.
  • 30 ml apple cider vinegar.
  • 1 clove garlic, minced.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika.
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon allspice.

Directions

1. Add all ingredients into a large saucepan and place on a low-medium heat. Simmer sauce for 10 minutes, until all incorporated and sauce thickens. Use sauce immediately or allow to cool and store in a jar in the refrigerator to use later.

2. This sauce will keep in the fridge for one week.
