These kale chips are a no-fuss snack with only three ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale or cavalo nero, stalks removed.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • pinch salt.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F. Tear the kale roughly into 4 cm squares. Toss in the oil and salt, then lay on a baking tray and cook for 5-10 minutes until crisp. Can be eaten either hot or cold.


Note

Never eat kale stalks - they are too hard to digest. The easiest way to remove the stalks is to grab the stalk end and then run your fingers down it, shearing the leaf off. Keep the stalks in the freezer to use in stocks.
