Warming Winter Smoothie

This smoothie is nice, creamy and warming, perfect for a winters morning.

Preparation: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk.
  • 2/3 cups soaked cashews (soak in water overnight, drain).
  • 1 tablespoon coconut butter.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, plus extra for sprinkling.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger (or fresh).
  • tiny pinch of ground cloves.
  • tiny pinch of sea salt.

Directions

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Pop in a jar and take to work or enjoy immediately with a sprinkling of cinnamon.


Note

You can top with extra nuts if you want a bit of crunch. Walnuts would be yum!

Add 2 tablespoons of chia seeds and leave overnight for an
eat-with-a-spoon consistency.
