Spiced Teff Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups teff flour.
  • 2 cups almond meal.
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
  • 1 teaspoon cardamon.
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice.
  • 2 eggs.
  • 1 1/2 cup full-cream milk.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2. Combine all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
4. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and mix together until a smooth thick paste forms.
5. Place mixture into a lined bread tin and place into the oven for 30-40 minutes.
6. Serve toasted with a generous blob of full-fat butter and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
