Santa’s Double Chocolate Thickshake

I Quit Sugar - Double Choc Thickshake

Tis’ the season for smoothies! Get into the spirit of Christmas with this creamy chocolate blitz, full of our favourite festive spices. Leave a glass out for Santa too and you’re guaranteed to make it onto his nice list!

Preparation: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup coconut water.
  • 1 tablespoon avocado, fresh or frozen.
  • 5–6 frozen coconut cream cubes.
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves.
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon raw cacao powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground.
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger, ground.
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes.
  • Cacao nibs, to serve.

Directions

1. Blitz all of the ingredients (except the cacao nibs) in a high-speed blender on high until smooth. If you like your smoothie a little less thick, add water.

2. Serve in a glass or jar with a sprinkling of cacao nibs to serve!


Note

TRICKY TIP: Add a teaspoon of peppermint extract for an extra Christmas feel!
