Korean Mayo

This super simple Korean mayo recipe is a great side and starter. Or you can add it to your main meals for a little extra flavour.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup store-bought mayonnaise (or Homemade Mayonnaise).
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or rice wine vinegar.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil.
  • 1/2 teaspoon rice malt syrup (omit this during weeks 1-5).
  • 1/2 tablespoon tamari (or soy sauce).
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried chilli flakes (optional), to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced.
  • salt and pepper, to taste.

Directions

1. Whisk or blend all ingredients to combine.
