Golden Mylk Sleepy Time Bites

Golden Mylk is taking over health food cafes around the globe. We’ve supercharged this creamy coconut beverage with protein-rich gelatin. Matched with some soothing spices, it’s the perfect before bed treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 tablespoons gelatin powder.
  • 400 ml coconut cream.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground.
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric, ground.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
  • 2 teaspoons rice malt syrup.
  • 1 pinch sea salt.

Directions

1. Dissolve the gelatin in ⅓ cup of cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to become gel-like.

2. Heat the coconut cream, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, rice malt syrup and sea salt in a saucepan until almost boiling. Remove from the heat and stir in the gelatin.

3. Pour into a 10 x 15 cm glass or plastic container. Refrigerate for 1 hour then cut into squares.

4. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
