I Quit Sugar - Ginger-Spiced Lemon Hazelnut Balls

The perfect treat when you need an extra boost of energy, or a quick dessert to share with friends and family.

Preparation: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Bare Blends Bare Whey Protein Isolate.
  • 1 1/2 cup hazelnut meal.
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted.
  • 1/2 lemon, juice and zest.
  • 2 tablespoons cashew butter, softened.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, ground.
  • coconut flour, for dusting.

Directions

1. Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Combine together with a spoon or your fingers to form a dough.

2. Place mixture into the fridge and allow to set for 10 minutes.

3. Remove mixture from the fridge and shape into 12 even-sized balls. Place onto a plate and back into the fridge to chill for at least 15 minutes before serving. Dust with coconut flour to serve.
