Having french toast topped with berries and natural yogurt is a great way to spend your Sunday morning.  

Servings: 1
Preparation: 10 mins
Cooking: 4 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 egg.
  • 60 ml full-fat milk.
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder.
  • 1 teaspoon butter.
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread.
  • 1 tablespoon full-fat natural yoghurt.
  • 1/4 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen.

Directions

1. Whisk egg, milk and vanilla in a shallow dish.

2. Melt butter in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Dip each slice of sourdough bread in egg mixture one a at a time until each slice is soaked through. Drain excess egg mixture and add bread to pan. Cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until golden.

3. Serve with a dollop of yoghurt and mixed berries.
