These choc dipped strawberries are so tasty you would think they are naughty!

Servings: 10-12
Preparation: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 punnet fresh strawberries.

Basic Raw Chocolate

  • 1/2 cup raw cacao butter, buttons or shavings (if you don't have any, use an additional 1/2 cup coconut oil instead).
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, softened.
  • 1/3 cup raw cacao powder.
  • 1/3 tablespoon rice malt syrup (or 1-2 teaspoons of granulated stevia; you can omit entirely if you prefer).
  • 2 pinches sea salt.

Directions

1. To make the Basic Raw Chocolate, place the cacao butter in a small saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat. Blend of mix with the rest of the ingredients until smooth and well combined.

2. Place 1 strawberry in each compartment of the ice cube tray. Fill tray with Basic Raw Chocolate. Place ice cube tray in freezer for 30 minutes, or until chocolate has set.

Note

You can keep these in the freezer for those moments you need a chocolate hit. When ready to serve, remove from freezer and wait for 5 minutes to thaw slightly.

Please note: This is raw chocolate and will melt at room temperature.
