Bacon + Rosemary Almonds

I Quit Sugar - Bacon + Rosemary Almonds

So we’ve found a way to incorporate this delicious meat into our snacks, in these moreish Bacon + Rosemary Roasted Almonds.  

Servings: 2 cups
Preparation: 5 mins
Cooking: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 rashers of bacon, finely chopped.
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil.
  • 2 cups raw almonds.
  • 2 sprigs rosemary, leaves removed.
  • 1 pinch sea salt.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180C and line a try with baking paper.

2. Place all ingredients onto the baking tray and toss together with your fingers until nuts are evenly coated. Place in the oven and cook for 20 minutes, tossing every 5 minutes until bacon is cooked and almonds are lightly toasted.

3. Once cooked, allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with additional rosemary leaves if you like.
