I Quit Sugar - Anti-Inflammatory Hot Chocolate

We’re slightly obsessed with turmeric and use it as much as possible, sprinkled on top roasted cauliflower, mashed through potatoes and stirred through scrambled eggs. So we’ve added it to a warm winter drink for an anti-inflammatory boost. Yum! Studies have shown that inflammation worsens during the cooler months and when your body gets out of balance, inflammation can become chronic which can increase the risk of disease such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and worsen fatigue and joint pain. The number one step to fighting inflammation is eliminating foods that are high in sugar and sodium, processed foods, alcohol, dairy, and even red meat, which is quite achievable through a summer diet where vegetables and fruits are in peak season. Yes, a warming mug of delicious coco that's doing wonders to your insides with every single sip.
