Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup Homemade Almond Milk or store-bought unsweetened almond milk (or regular milk).
- 1/2 cup coconut cream or 5–6 frozen coconut cream cubes.
- 2 carrots, chopped.
- 1 zucchini, chopped.
- 1/2 cup oats.
- 1 teaspoon turmeric, ground.
- 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder.
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper.
Directions
- 1. Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blitz on high until smooth.
Note
TRICKY TIP: Soak your oats overnight before adding to the blender to allow enzymes, lactobacilli and other helpful organisms to break down and neutralise the phytic acid in oats.
