Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower.
- 2 tablespoons butter.
- 2 tablespoons gluten-free plain flour.
- 1 cup milk (full fat or coconut milk).
- 1 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese.
Directions
- 1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celcius
2. Trim cauliflower and cut into small florets. Add to a pot of boiling water and cook for three minutes until slightly softened. Drain and arrange into an oven safe baking dish.
3. Place butter into a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour. Cook, stirring for 1 minute or until it starts to bubble. Reduce heat to a simmer and slowly add in the milk, whisk until smooth.
4. Simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Remove from heat and stir through 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Pour over the cauliflower florets. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
5. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
